World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency venture with ties to former President Donald Trump, has publicly rejected scrutiny from Senator Richard Blumenthal. The Connecticut Democrat had sought details about WLFI’s ownership structure and its relationship to Trump-affiliated entities.

The company’s legal team fired back with a letter asserting transparency, claiming to build "a next-generation, auditable financial infrastructure rooted in American trust." The rebuke comes days before WLFI co-founders Zach Witkoff and Zak Folkman appear with Eric TRUMP at Consensus 2025 in Toronto.
